Do You Take Insurance?

Yes! We are in-network with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna.

How Can I Afford Treatment since You Don’t Take My Insurance?

We offer a limited amount of reduced fee slots, as well as offer Superbills for potential out of network reimbursement. If you are still concerned about cost, please reach out and we will see what we can do!

How Long Will We Work Together?

The short answer: As long as mutually desired. The long answer: On average, we typically work with clients for 6-12 months. However, we have also worked with clients for much shorter and much longer! It really depends on your goals, and your unique journey of getting there.

Do You Work With Eating Disorders?

Yes! We work with Eating Disorders, and we all have experience working at higher levels of care at Eating Disorder Treatment Centers.

What if I Don’t Have an Eating Disorder?

Many of our clients do not have Eating Disorders, but still struggle with their relationship with food. If you are feeling stress, guilt, or anxiety with food, and/or and want support while practicing Intuitive Eating, we may be a great fit!

Do You Work With Adolescents?

Yes! Jasmine works with adolescents, Kali no longer works with adolescents.

Do You See Clients In Person?

Yes! We are conveniently located right off of the 405, across the street from the Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, California. We also offer telehealth sessions when appropriate for quality care.

Do You See Clients in the Evenings?

Yes, however our evening availability is limited. Please schedule a Discovery Call to see if we have availability to accommodate your schedule!

What Does Working Together Look Like?

Our first session is 75-90 minutes, and follow up sessions are 45-60 minutes. We typically first meet with clients for weekly sessions, and then decrease frequency over time to biweekly, and then monthly.

In terms of what goes on in sessions - we have never worked with two clients exactly the same! Everything is individualized depending on your goals in working together. We may work on structure and consistency with eating, challenging food rules, reawakening our hunger, learning how to feel our fullness, or learning how to make peace with food, for example.

One thing is for certain - we love homework and will almost always leave you with something to work on in between sessions. Whether that be an Intuitive Eating Practice, a challenge, or a worksheet!
